Terms of Service

By accessing or using Apprendr ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Apprendr is an AI-powered French learning tool that provides translations, grammar explanations, vocabulary analysis, and text-to-speech audio. The Service is available via a web application and a Chrome browser extension.

You may sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

Free accounts receive 10 credits per day, resetting at midnight. One translation costs 1 credit; one text-to-speech request costs 2 credits. Credits are non-transferable and do not roll over to the next day.

We reserve the right to modify the credit allocation or introduce paid plans with advance notice.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API.
• Submit content that is abusive, harmful, or violates third-party rights.
• Circumvent credit limits or rate limiting by any means.

All content, branding, and software comprising the Service are owned by Apprendr or its licensors. Translation output is generated by AI and provided for personal educational use only.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. AI-generated translations may contain errors and should not be relied upon for professional, legal, or medical purposes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apprendr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
